Our Purpose
Caritas LOVE INDIA exists to transform villages across India by addressing their most urgent needs. We work to ensure access to clean water, nutrition, healthcare, education, energy, and economic opportunity. Our vision is to restore dignity and hope in rural communities through sustainable, locally-driven development.
How We Work
We train Village Development Officers (VDOs) to lead projects in partnership with villagers. Each project is based on detailed research and designed to fit the unique needs of the community. We collaborate with local partners, experts, and institutions to implement practical solutions—and we train locals to manage them sustainably.
The Impact We Aim For
By 2026, we aim to bring transformation to over 7,000 villages. From clean water systems and organic farming to solar power, health centers, and financial education—we’re changing lives. Our mission is not just about development. It’s about empowering people to build a better future for themselves and generations to come.
